After meeting twice in the Group stage, today’s Champions League quarter-final draw has again paired Barça with Paris Saint Germain in a repeat of the quarter-final two seasons ago. There will be no need for introductions as we will once more be tested by the talent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva, Edinson Cavani, David Luiz, Lucas Moura and the rest. The first leg will be played in Paris on Wednesday 15 April with the second game at Camp Nou six days later on Tuesday 21 April.
Two years ago Barça won the tie on away goals after a 2-2 draw at the Parc des Princes was followed by a 1-1 draw at Camp Nou. In the group stage earlier this season PSG won the game in Paris 3-2 though Barça won the return at Camp Nou 3-1 to finish top of the group.
Barça’s Dani Alves and Ibrahimovic and Marco Verratti for PSG will all miss the first leg in Paris through suspension.
